Section 82
Duties, Duties and Powers of Liquidator
(1) For the purpose of commencing the compulsory liquidation of a bank or financial institution, the appointed liquidator shall, after being appointed, carry out the following actions:- (a) Within fifteen days of the appointment, for the information of the shareholders and related persons of the bank or financial institution, any Nepali and English national level Publishing a notice in a language daily newspaper, (b) Attaching a certified copy of the compulsory cancellation order within fifteen days of the appointment and sending it to the company registrar's office and the organization established in accordance with prevailing laws for the protection of deposits for information, (c) The main place of business of the bank or financial institution and to post a notice of such order in every office where everyone can see it, (d) to broadcast the notice on a television and a radio broadcast at the national level at least once every week for four weeks after the appointment, (e) to do other tasks prescribed by the National Bank (2) After receiving the notice in accordance with clause (b) of sub-section (1), the office of the company registrar shall report that there is an order to initiate the compulsory cancellation process in the register books related to such bank or financial institution.
